Stephen Pope

Experience:

Stephen has 30 years professional and managerial experience in executive, general management, consulting and information technology roles. He has extensive experience in the areas of consulting, project management, systems integration, and application development in both the public and private sector:
  • Partner Healthcare IBM Global Services responsible for the Healthcare Industry in Asia Pacific, Business Consulting Services. In this capacity he was responsible for IBM’s Healthcare consulting and systems integration services, working with major healthcare organisations in the region. These included MediBank, DHS in Victoria, SingHealth and the Shanghai Hospital
  • Vice President & Global Practice Leader CRM IBM Global Services responsible for US$2 billion revenue. The CRM Practice encompassed IBM’s customer facing solutions including Sales Force Transformation, Business Intelligence and e-Commerce and was responsible for providing consulting and services using both in-house and ISV solutions from companies such as Siebel, Onyx and PeopleSoft.
  • Prior to joining IBM Global Services in 1997, Stephen ran his own consulting business specialising in the implementation of financial management systems. His clients included Commonwealth Bank, Colonial Mutual, National Mutual, Melbourne Transit and Port of Melbourne Authorities
  • Before forming his own company Stephen worked for a number of software and professional services organisations. He spent several years building a software and services business for SPL WorldGroup specialising in consulting, project management and implementation of Call Centre solutions. Prior to that he started the Sydney office for Quality Software Products, a UK based financial accounting package vendor. Clients included Qantas, GIO, Sydney Water and Sydney University.
